Comic Reviews: Daredevil: Born Again

Another classic Frank Miller story that does this character justice. Frank Miller is slowly becoming one of my top 3 comic book writers and this story is another great example of why. I'm currently trying to read his entire Daredevil run while also reading some other stuff. Daredevil has always been a character I've been interested in but after reading Frank Miller's 'Daredevil: The Man Without Fear' and this 'Born Again' story he's becoming someone I want to read a lot more often.

My opinions and reviews on the comics that came out this week. I read a lot more DC than Marvel right now, I'm waiting on Marvel NOW before I really get into Marvel books again so for now most of the Marvel books I'll review are gonna be Civil War II tie-ins, Deadpool comics, and anything else that peaks my interest or something new they release.

Comic Reviews: Daredevil: The Man Without Fear

Frank Miller does it again! I can now see why he's held in such high regards, after reading a handful of his most famous work. I do have to admit my main motivation for reading this was the Daredevil tv show. It was well worth the read. The tv show definitely takes some notes from this. I really did enjoy it as its own thing though, and would recommend this to someone who wants a good story or to start reading Daredevil. It's an origin story, but the way it's told and the way Frank Miller gives life to these characters make it feel brand new. It's got a lot of Daredevil mythos in it, with Electra, Fisk, and of course Foggy Nelson his best friend and business partner. This story and Frank Miller live up to the hype and reputation this story have earned.
